Kerala Technology Expo 2024

The inaugural edition of the Kerala Technology Expo, “KTX Global Wave 2024 – KTX 2024,” took place from February 29 to March 2, 2024, at the Calicut Trade Centre & Convention Hall, near Sarovaram Bio Park, Mini Bypass Road, Kozhikode, Kerala. This groundbreaking event marked a pivotal moment in Kozhikode's journey to establish itself as a global hub for technology and innovation. Organized by the Calicut Innovation & Technology Initiative (CITI) 2.0, KTX 2024 brought together key stakeholders, industry leaders, and global experts to accelerate the city's technological progress.

Over three vibrant days, the expo hosted 49 thought-provoking sessions featuring more than 110 speakers from across the globe, alongside four interactive workshops and a prestigious CXO Conference chaired by Mr. Rajesh Nambiar, Chairperson of NASSCOM. The agenda spanned a wide range of topics, including Industry 4.0, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and human coexistence, showcasing Kozhikode's commitment to fostering a thriving technology ecosystem.

KTX 2024 drew an impressive audience of over 9,000 visitors, including 6,000+ registered delegates, and featured an exhibition with 120+ stalls and participation from 140+ IT companies. A standout feature of the event was the active involvement of the Kozhikode diaspora—renowned professionals with roots in the city now leading global organizations such as IBM, Uber, Microsoft, Mastercard, SAP Labs, Google, Tata Elxsi, Grant Thornton, and Accenture.

By positioning Kozhikode as a cost-effective and strategic Tier-II destination for innovation and technology, KTX 2024 underscored the city’s potential as a gateway for business with the Middle East. It highlighted Kozhikode's welcoming culture, skilled workforce, dynamic diaspora, and cost-efficient infrastructure, solidifying its appeal as a prime location for technology companies seeking growth opportunities beyond Tier-I cities.

KTX 2025 - Kerala Technology Expo 2025

The Kerala Technology Expo (KTX) 2025 will be held from February 13–15, 2025, at the Calicut Trade Centre, Kozhikode, Kerala. Building on the success of its inaugural edition, KTX 2025 will spotlight Kozhikode’s growing prominence in technology, innovation, infrastructure, healthcare, education, tourism, and the vibrant startup ecosystem. Under the theme “Beyond Borders: Kerala's Digital Pathway to the Future,” the event will unite innovators, industry leaders, policymakers, and investors to explore cutting-edge advancements, emerging opportunities, and challenges in the tech landscape.
